The Divine Names of Allah — also known as The Divine 99 — is a researched study of the Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah, the Asma ul Husna. Each Name is presented with its pronunciation, its occurrences in the Qur'an, its approximate meaning in English, and reflections on what it asks of the believer.
Rather than simply listing the ninety-nine, the book explains how the Names are derived and enumerated: which appear directly in the Qur'an, which come from the Hadith literature, and how classical and contemporary scholars have treated the well-known narration of Al-Tirmidhi. Names occurring singly and in combination are traced through the Surahs in which they appear.
